Love, True Love!

Bryan and Sarah... they just make me smile! They compliment each other perfectly.
The sun and sky were so perfect, that I just couldn't resist taking this set.

This covered bridge is in Morgantown Indiana, and was the perfect spot to take some romantic engagement portraits. These were taken two years ago, and remain some of my favorite portraits!

From High School Sweet Hearts to Wedded Bliss

Finally the wedding day! Paige was such a wonderful bride to work with. She was so laid back and easy going. She was absolutely glowing!

I couldn't resist getting a shot of these wedding shoes...

This was Paige! The whole day was filled with great photo ops!
Codi's grandpa was kind enough to let them use his ol' car for their wedding day. It was a beautiful prop to have around!
Everything about this day was perfect! The Bride, the Groom, the ceremony, the colors. Even the cake was perfect! Maybe I'm a little bit biased, since I think my Mom makes the most beautiful cakes! She really did a beautiful job on Paige and Codi's cake.

James

These are portraits are of my cousin... his Mother wanted pictures of him before his appearance was forever altered by BRACES! Poor guy! 18-22 months isn't that long...

I was really excited about this particular shot... I had never used this back drop! I've drove past it for years and never thought to use it in a shoot! Too bad I can't take the credit for it... James is the one who suggested it. I think it turned out to be a great idea.

High School Sweet Hearts

Paige and Codi... what can I say? We had a blast taking these pictures! These two have so much personality, and the pictures tell the story.

Codi borrowed the old car from his Grandfather, and it was so fun using it. The car added even more personality to this session.

I have tons of beautiful portraits from this session so, it was hard for me to choose just a few for my blog!

Fairytale Wedding

I was back-up at Anna's wedding, so I mostly just got the behind the scenes stuff, but I had fun. I like not having the whole wedding day resting on my shoulders!

This was a Cheese Cake Wedding Cake... yes, I did get to sample it and yes, it tasted just as good as it looks! YUM!!!
Anna went with the "simple elegance" look. It made for quite the fairy tale wedding... it was just right, not to little not to much. Simply gorgeous!

Castaway Cowboy

Talk about fun pictures! I don't even feel like I had to work during this session. Chandler was a natural, we just had a blast taking his senior portraits.
This shot is what you would call perfect timing... we were getting some shots by the railroad tracks and this train came by at the perfect moment. I think the engine in the back ground just makes the shot!

I've been dying to use this chair in a session... my husband picked it up at an estate sale specifically for using it in pictures.

Better Late Than Never!

These portraits are about three years over due! My little sister was married on April 22nd of 2006, and we kept putting her bridal portraits off... anyway, here we are August of 09, and we've finally gotten them taken care of.
I wanted my sisters wedding gown in my portfolio, because of its timeless elegance! It was gorgeous three years ago when she was married in it, and it's just as beautiful today.

This set was a blast to take! I had the best assistant ever! My cousin Ashly from CA. was along for the shoot with my cousin Caroline who is also a photographer, and I. Caroline and I tend to be a bit shy about asking if we can take pictures in off limits areas. Ashly, however is not shy! She walked right into the fire station and asked the fire chief if we could use a truck for our shoot. He was more than glad to oblige! He even asked a few of the guys to put on their gear for a photo op! We had so much fun... don't know about our local firemen though! Thank you Neosho Fire Dept. for a great photo session!
